Adam Sandler stars in this comedic animated musical as Davey Stone, a 33 year old drunk who was perfect 20 years ago. After cheating the Chinese waiter (Schneider) for not paying for his 4 Scorpion bowls, he gets one more chance or he goes to the state prison for 10 years. For his sentence, he is to be a referee-in-training for the Junior Basketball League. While learning to be nicer from Whitey Duvall (Sandler), an ederly basketball referee, Davey falls in love again with his childhood girfriend Jennifer Freedman (Titone) who already has a son Benjamin (Stout).

Just before their wedding, Elizabeth Swann and Will Turner are arrested by Lord Cutler Beckett for helping the pirate Captain Jack Sparrow, but Cutler proposes a deal to Will: their freedom per Jack’s compass. Meanwhile, Jack is afraid of the sea, because he owes his soul to the evil Davy Jones, the Captain of the Flying Dutchmen. International con artist/thief Laure Ash helps pull off a diamond robbery in Cannes during the annual film festival. She double-crosses her partners-in-crime and makes off with the diamonds to Paris where she accidently assumes the identy of a distraught woman who commits suicide and then leaves the country. Seven years later, Laure (now called Lily Watts) re-surfaces as the wife of the new American ambassador to France where a certain Nicolas Barto, a Spanish photographer, takes her picture which sets the stage for a motion of events as the evil Laure resorts to low, underhanded means to protect her former identity by emotionally and financially destroying Nicolas while evading her former partners-in-crime still looking for her to reclaim the stolen diamonds.

The purpose of the program set up by the Pentagon, called the “Human Hibernation Project,” is designed so that the military can save their best men for when they’re needed most. According to the officers heading the project, too many times the talents and expensive training of the best pilots and soldiers go to waste during times of peace. So they enlist Bauers (Wilson), the most under-achieving average guy they’ve got, to be the test subject for the initial hibernation experiment. Also participating in the top-secret program is Rita (Rudolph), a prostitute who agreed to take part in exchange for dropping some criminal charges against her, among other things. Of course, the experiment, which was to last only a year, goes under due to the arrest of Officer Collins, who is busted for heading a prostitution ring. Seeing as though he was in charge of the experiment, one of the only ones who knew of its existence, and “due to a lot of top-secret red tape… and the massive scandals and base closure that followed, Joe and Rita were forgotten about.
