In his early years, he played the evil hall monitor Fritz Hansel in the cult classic "The Rock 'n' Roll High School (1979)", and he had a recurring role for 5 seasons as Roy on "Facts of Life, The" (1979)" opposite Nancy McKeon. Recent motion pictures include the blockbuster film sequel "American Wedding (2003)" and the hit comedy "Sweetest Thing (2002)". He can also be seen in the latest Wes Craven suspense thriller "Red Eye (2005/I)". During his recent appearances on "Las Vegas" (2003)", "LAX" (2004)", "Gilmore Girls" (2000)", "Without a Trace" (2002)", and "Practice, The" (1997)", he had the privilege of working with William Shatner, James Caan, Heather Locklear, Edward Herrmann, and Emmy Award-Winning director Joe Russo . The character he plays on "General Hospital" (1963)", Howard Meyer, survived a recent shooting and continues to recur.
Loren is also a highly successful voice-over artist, best known for creating the roles of Robin and Nightwing on the animated series "Batman" (1992)", and his voice has starred in hundreds of TV and radio commercials. He is a graduate of Occidental College's theater department and he has starred in dozens of plays and musicals. Loren and his wife Kelly are the proud parents of three daughters.
