Biography: Chelah's father, Valdy, is a famed Canadian Folk singer, and mother, Lindsay, a well respected Yoga teacher. She grew up in the Vancouver community of Kitsilano. At eighteen, by way of modelling, Chelah appeared in a couple of locally shot shows and commercials before packing her bags and moving to the beaches of the Caribbean. Despite a busy work schedule, Chelah continues to study her craft at Lyric School of Acting with the likes of Michele Lonsdale Smith, Kate Twa and Ben Ratner.
