show all Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Terry grew up and went to school in the Canadian prairies. After a couple of years at the University of Calgary, Terry decided to get away from Alberta and went on a quest to find his passion. He discovered it in the Cayman Islands, surrounded by the sand and the sun of the Caribbean; he decided that he wanted to be an actor.
Terry moved to Vancouver in order to pursue his dream, and now his focus and ambition is paying off in a big way. His supporting role as 'Ben Fong Torres' in the much lauded, Almost Famous, directed by Cameron Crowe, has been praised in reviews from Variety magazine to Ebert & Roeper at the Movies. His most recent films in release are roles in Chronicles of Riddick with Vin Diesel and Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever opposite Antonio Banderas & Lucy Liu. His upcoming feature releases include Miramax's Underclassmen and he is eagerly waiting for production to begin on his next project, a lead role opposite Billy Zane in the feature film Memore. In between film projects, he keeps busy shooting Pilots, Guest Starring and Recurring roles on episodic television.
Terry has impressed everyone who has worked with him as an actor to be watched. Despite the difficulty for ethnic actors to find decent roles in the television and film market, his career is exploding. He truly has star-quality and the focus and drive to make his tropical dream a reality.
