The daughter of an NYC based jazz musician (Don Friedman) and an abstract painter turned M.S.W., Lynn has been performing and training in her field since she was a young girl (she had her stage debut as "Cinderella" at age 6). Lynn was born and raised in the Bronx, NY where she attended The Fieldston School and studied dance at the Bronx Dance Theater, the Harkness Ballet and Alvin Ailey. After completing her first year at New York University, Lynn was hired as a back-up dancer for C& C Music Factory and she embarked on a two year international tour with the well-known pop group. After returning home, she decided to re-focus and enrolled in the Meisner program at Esper. Upon graduation, Lynn immersed herself in all things theater. Some favorite roles include: Antigone ("Antigone"), Teresa (John Patrick Shanley's "Italian American Reconciliation"), Isabella ("Measure for Measure") and Suzanne ("The Wound" at LaMAMA E.T.C.) but after performing in Los Angeles with her theater company, Angry Jellow Bubbles, Lynn decided to make the move. Shortly after relocating, Lynn was cast as the female lead in her first feature film "Loaded". Since then she has worked steadily in commercials and theater. Her television debut came last year in the form of a re-curring role as CSU Tech Mike on "Law and Order: Criminal Intent". Most recently, Lynn performed in the Suzan Lori Parks/Center Theatre Group collaboration "365 Days/365 Plays" and "Hush" a controversial short film that made its debut at the San Diego Film Festival in September. When not performing, Lynn teaches acting for the Inner City Filmmakers and works as a dance instructor and choreographer.
