show all After the humbling and life-changing experience of graduating number 1 out of 800 men in Naval Boot Camp and Corpsman Medical Training in 1989, Erick M. Gosse set the standard for the course of his career. As CEO and founder of Western Interactive Productions, as well as co-founder of Exxpoze Society, a non-profit organization for independent filmmakers, Erick founded and capitalized the companies with his personal earnings from a highly successful tenure as a Director of Sales and Marketing for Medtronic's Head and Neck Surgical Technology's division. Upon restructuring the operations for the western half of the US, Erick crushed the companies overall 17% growth by leading his division to an unprecedented 62% growth within 24 months. His decision to enter the film industry full time was made after he developed and implemented a highly creative multi-media campaign for a plastic surgeon's practice in Phoenix, Arizona that tripled his business within 60 days; necessitating the surgeon to hire additional staff, order a new phone system to handle the influx of calls, and expand his office space to accommodate his new patients. Immediately following these unprecedented results, Erick was entertaining the idea of taking the position of Executive VP of Sales for the Asian/Pacific Market. After deliberating his decision carefully, he decided to make a clean break from corporate America and focus his business talents and creative energy in the film industry, as was his primary passion since 1986, when a casting director approached him and asked for a screen test, landing him the lead in a series of Pizza Hut commercials with Rich Hall. His first production was organized, individually produced, and personally funded within 8 months, followed by four more film projects, including the feature film he also stars in, "Loaded (2007/V)". Erick has also had several principal commercial roles with Ford and Chevrolet Trucks, a series of Ford Motor Credit Industry Films, worked in Nashville Dark Horse Theatre with Murder on Mansion Hill, had the lead role in 2 music videos, produced and appeared in "For Sale By Owner", "Exit Interview", "032174", "Sleepers", "An Open Door", and several other films shot from Los Angeles to Dallas. Erick is now enjoying his newly found passion for writing and looks forward to his Directorial debut in "The Skinner Box".
