Biography: R. E. Rodgers has finished directing his first feature film, JEER4, which was shot on Digital Video in New York, Philadelphia, Virginia, and North Carolina. He is doing this with the participation of the Fifth Night Screenplay Reading Series (where he has read, acted in and directed screenplays at the Nuyorican Poets' Cafe) in Brooklyn. He has previously directed a short movie through them called "The Last Guy To Let You Down" which starred former Law And Order: Trial By Jury star Scott Cohen and The Sopranos' Lorraine Bracco. His next film will be a documentary dealing with the adventures of weekend Drum and Bugle corp competitions on the East Coast. Unlike marching bands, which are generally associated with schools, performing at football half-time shows, parades, and school-related competition - drum and bugle corps are individual, competitive organizations. hide |
